Terms of service
These terms set out what Chaare does, what it does not do, and the responsibilities on both sides when you book a counselling session through the platform.

1. These terms
These terms govern your use of Chaare — the website at chaare.in and the services offered through it. By creating an account, booking a session or sending us an enquiry, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the platform.
Read them alongside our Privacy policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
2. Chaare is not an emergency service
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, or at risk of self-harm or suicide, do not use this platform. Call your local emergency number, go to the nearest hospital, or contact a crisis helpline.
Chaare offers scheduled counselling sessions with independent practitioners. It does not provide emergency care, crisis intervention, or continuous monitoring, and no one is watching the platform for urgent messages outside a booked session.
3. What Chaare does and does not do
Chaare is a platform that helps you find a therapist, see when they are available, book a session, and be connected to them. The therapeutic relationship is between you and your therapist.
- Therapists on Chaare are independent practitioners, not our employees. They are responsible for their own clinical judgment, advice and conduct.
- We verify the qualifications a therapist submits before approving their profile, but we do not supervise, direct or guarantee the outcome of any session.
- Nothing on this website is medical advice, a diagnosis or a prescription, and nothing on it substitutes for care from a qualified practitioner who knows your situation.
4. Who can use Chaare
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Where counselling is for someone under 18, the account must be held by a parent or legal guardian, who books on the child’s behalf and consents to the session. You must give accurate details when registering and keep them up to date.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at enquiries@chaare.com if you believe someone else has access to it.
We verify your mobile number by one-time code when you register. Do not share your account with anyone else, and do not create an account on behalf of another adult without their knowledge.
6. Bookings, changes and cancellations
- A slot is confirmed when you complete the booking and it appears in your bookings list. Slots are taken on a first-come basis, so a slot may be gone if someone books it before you confirm.
- A therapist may decline a booking — for example if the presenting need is outside their practice. You will be notified, the slot is released, and you are free to book elsewhere on the platform.
- Cancel or reschedule from your bookings page as early as you can, so the slot can go to someone else. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice where you can.
- Sessions are delivered as arranged with your therapist. Some bookings are handed off to a first responder over WhatsApp to confirm details before the session.
7. Fees and payment
Session fees, and the means of paying them, are arranged directly with your therapist or with the Chaare team at the time of booking. Where online payment is introduced on the platform, the price and any refund terms will be shown to you before you are asked to pay, and this section will be updated accordingly.
8. Acceptable use
When using Chaare, you agree not to:
- impersonate anyone, or register with details that are not yours;
- harass, threaten or abuse a therapist, another user or our staff;
- record a session, or share anything from a session or from another person’s profile, without their explicit consent;
- attempt to access accounts, bookings or notes that are not yours, or to probe, scan or disrupt the platform;
- use the platform for anything unlawful, or to solicit or advertise to other users.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we are able to.
9. Additional terms for therapists
If you register as a therapist, you additionally agree that:
- you hold, and will keep current, the qualifications and any registration or licence required to practise, and you will provide documentation for verification on request;
- your profile, including your biography, qualifications and specialisations, is accurate and not misleading;
- you will keep the availability you publish accurate, and honour or promptly decline the bookings made against it;
- you will treat client information in confidence, in line with your professional obligations and our Privacy policy, and use it only to provide care;
- you carry your own professional indemnity arrangements, and remain responsible for your own clinical practice.
We may decline, suspend or remove a therapist profile where credentials cannot be verified or where conduct on the platform warrants it.
10. Confidentiality and its limits
What you discuss with your therapist is confidential. The recognised exceptions still apply: a therapist may need to disclose information where there is a serious and immediate risk to your life or someone else’s, where a child or vulnerable person is at risk of harm, or where disclosure is required by law or by a court. Our Privacy policy sets out who within Chaare can see what.
11. Intellectual property
The Chaare name, logo, site design and content belong to Chaare or its licensors. You may use the platform for its intended purpose; you may not copy, reproduce or redistribute its content for commercial purposes without our written permission. What you write remains yours, and you grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — for example, to show your booking note to the therapist you booked.
12. Service availability
We work to keep Chaare available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the platform — for maintenance, for example. Where we can give notice of a planned interruption, we will.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chaare is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, nor for the clinical advice or conduct of an independent therapist. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kochi, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when we last did. Continuing to use Chaare after a change means you accept the updated terms; where a change materially affects you, we will tell you directly.
16. Contacting us
Questions or complaints about these terms can go to enquiries@chaare.com or +919895005083. Our postal address is Pukalakkat Tower, Cochin, Kerala, 682024.
